Top questions
- A guided practice of voluntary laughter and breath to ease stress and boost mood, with options for all bodies. You’re not “performing” comedy; you’re doing gentle, repeatable exercises that often lead to real laughter naturally.
- Most people can participate comfortably. Listen to your body, modify or pause anytime. If you have concerns (recent surgery, uncontrolled blood pressure, heart or lung conditions, pregnancy complications), check with your clinician first. This site is educational and not medical care.
- Start with Beginner options if you’re new. Choose a format that matches your energy: short micro-sessions for busy weeks, longer classes for deeper practice. If you’re sensitive to group settings, look for self-paced lessons or small cohorts.
- No. The exercises start as intentional “practice laughter,” paired with breathing and simple movements. Many people notice genuine laughter emerging on its own, but it’s not required—showing up and trying gently is enough.
- Many exercises can be done seated and scaled down. You can keep movements minimal and focus on breath and facial relaxation. Pause if you feel dizziness, pain spikes, or strain—comfort and consent come first.
- Some people feel lighter immediately after a session. Others notice benefits after consistent practice over a couple of weeks. Like stretching, small frequent sessions often work better than rare intense ones.
- Comfortable clothes, water, and a bit of space to breathe freely. Optional: headphones and a cushion. For online sessions, a stable connection helps—but we keep things simple.
- Yes. Most lessons are designed to work smoothly on phones and tablets. We recommend using a quiet space and enabling Do Not Disturb during sessions.
- Policies vary by course type. If your course includes a live cohort, it usually has a shorter refund window. For self-paced courses, refunds typically depend on completion level. If you’re unsure, open the contact modal and we’ll help before you purchase.
